Bed Bugs In New York - New York City is getting infested with unwanted guests: bed bugs. These bloodsucking critters are spreading all over the states and New York has been named the most bed bug infested city in the United States.
From the swankiest hotels like the Waldorf-Astoria hotel to the Empire State Building, from luxury high-rise condos to New York Public Library, from schools to Times Square’s AMC Empire 25 Theater to Abercrombie, Hollister, and Victoria’s Secret, the infestation of these creepy, crawlies continues to plague New York.
Experts say international travel may be one of the reasons for the resurgence of bed bugs in NYC. Other causes may also include changes in pest control practices, including the ban of bug pesticides such as DDT that were once used to treat bed bugs.
